Thanks all I'm sorted now. I got a Hunter Liberty 22 in the end - a cat ketch, but i may convert her to junk rig at some stage. Very rough sketch:

Well done! That's a very nice boat! Have you seen Dylan Winter's YouTube videos on his channel www.keepturningleft.co.uk? He used a Hunter Minstrel, which is essentially the same boat as the Liberty, with a different rig. Will you be retaining the Liberty's second mast?

I meant to add that I am still looking for a sub-25' junk, so Coromandel or similar. There must be someone out there who's selling!!!

I'm looking in UK and possibly Europe.

Hi I have a coromandel i bought as a project before covid, it is in a boat yard in essex and hasnt been touched for several years, i just want rid of it so if you sae interested please let me know and we can talk more!

Yes I'm a big fan of Dylan Winter -one of the reasons i was attracted to the Liberty (yes, same boat as the Minstrel) was because he referred to it as "the best boat I've ever owned". High praise indeed coming from him. The thing which attracts me most about it is the keel arrangement - floats in 18" of water, can sail to windward with the plate up.
