We are selling our family yacht Bertha (formerly Emma Fay) after four happy years of ownership for £52,000
Features
The Warrior 40 has seagoing robustness (42.5% ballast ratio) and provides excellent living space internally. It is also a sensible family sized live aboard option with plenty of space (3 double berths) and a generous galley and large seating area adjacent which seats 8 happily.
The cock pit area is excellent for entertaining or acts as an extra sitting room when ashore, with cushioned seats and a substantial clear cover . It has a deep cock pit and well protected when you set sail. Internally, Bertha follows the 'C' layout.
She was converted to schooner junk rig in 2012/13 to an Alan Boswell design for short-handed long distance passage making. The current ownership (family of 4 + 2 pets) have lived on her in Brighton Marina and sailed the south coast. She is now in Portsmouth harbour on a swinging mooring.
Well worth inspection and very sensibly priced for a vessel of this quality, capability and versatility as a live aboard, for leisure sailing or serious world travelling option. Happy to send more details, answer any questions and can arrange tours and sea trials.
Thanks
