Well nothing has happened with the 15 HP outboard but I have been told about a 9.9 that maybe for sale. Sunday was a millpond day so I raised the sail just to remind myself what it looked like... Well actually to check it for any damage after my over canvassed sail back this side of Xmas. All was fine.

Actually Gary I had heard that, different jets in the carby or something like that.

My only concern is that the 15 maybe a bit heavy.

You may have noticed I've been a bit quiet lately. The outboard has proved to be much harder to fix than I thought it would be. There is a glimmer of good news, a friend has just bought a Honda 15 HP 4 stroke long leg. If it's in good condition he will sell it to me. Anyway I'll know next weekend. Redwing hasn't been off the dock since Xmas.

My berth is a tricky one Brian with no room for mistakes. I have thought about how I could get in and out under sail alone. I'd need a kedge anchor for a start but it would be an interesting exercise on a quiet day.
