Sorry to hear that you're into maintenance/repairs before you've even had much chance to sail the boat, Gary. Truly, there is nothing worse for a boat than not being used. I know a lot of people get irritated about boats that are used only as liveaboards, but that is a far, far better fate than to languish for a long time with no attention at all. Fortunately, not only have you built the boat yourself, so know what to do and how to do it, but plywood is relatively easy to repair. Even a little sail in the river will give you a boost.
