    Am I a man or a mouse?  Thank heavens I am a woman! 

    Just come back from a 'nice few days away' and ended up in a semi-exposed anchorage in Force I-don't-know-what.  It was definitely too wet and windy to take my hand-held wind-force recorder out to see.  Gales is for the gods, not for the girls IMHO.  And if I never spend one more night at anchor, in a gale, I will not complain.

    (But d'you know what was really strange?  At 10 o'clock the next day I intended to sail back to the marina and nail my boat, permanently, to the dock.  Twelve hours later I was working out all the things I need to do to go off cruising 'properly'!)

    True, unless you are sharing the login with your significant other, in which case it becomes Very Important to let people know which one of you has done it this time...stuck your foot in your mouth, that is.

    In the case of the Flutterbies, if the post is terse, it's probably me. If it's  wordy, verbose, technical, and chock-full of details and modifying words, that would be Barry.

    Oops. Just stuck my foot in my mouth (grin).

    Hi David,
    Blondie used to say "Am I a man, or am I a mouse?", when faced with the decision as to whether to put to sea or not in bad weather. So it's OK to be a mouse, sometimes, even a nonny one. But all you have to do to be a man is to login, as MD says. Then you see the name and photo of the poster in the left hand box, and to sign your posting becomes slightly redundant.

    Or do you mean on the front page when not logged in? Guests/non-members can read the comments, but not reply, and not know the secret inner workings of Club JRA. ;-)  ;-)
