    I love writing the articles, though some of them do take an enormous amount of time and research.  I spent a year working on Henry's article and if he had not passed away we might have expanded it into a book eventually.  I felt privileged to be taken into his confidence.  The result is a unique document for the JRA's records.

    Sarah Pigott, Sir Henry's daughter, has asked me to extend an invitation to all JRA members to attend Henry's memorial service on the 14th of October.  The address is as follows:

    St Nicholas church

    Brockenhurst 

    Hampshire

    1200 followed by Carey's manor after, donations to RNLI
