    Hello Gary,

I've just got back from a wonderful day sailing with Dieter on his cat. The boat and the rig is amazing, not to mention 100s of clever practical inventions! Beautiful. You  will enjoy it. Dieter and Christine and such a nice people, a real pleasure to be with.

Would you be able to make it any weekday this week? We could meet up and if possible go sailing with Dieter. I think he might be free.

Please email me to LCGFUN@GMAIL.COM and I will co-ordinate.

    Hope to hear from you.

    Kind regards.

    Linda

    Hi Gary

Thanks for your interest and pity you can't make it - but if in any way (by train, car?) you can get to Victoria Point, Brisbane where Dieter's beautiful catamaran TOROA is - it would be wonderful. Dieter and I are sailing out 7.30am tomorrow, Sunday morning for a day sail. We are not sure what the weather will be like next weekend so decided to go for a sail tomorrow.

Sunday morning we had an AGM and the afternoon was tied up with meeting.:(

I've seen Toroa from a distance and would love to meet Dieter, another time maybe.

The 18th I'm on duty with Point Danger Marine Rescue and the Saturday I'm planing on a sail of my own.

    That would be wonderful but...

I'm at Tweed Heads and given the weather (rain and severe thunderstorms) and wind direction at the moment I can't even get to Southport

    Dear Fora Folks,

I am on my way to New Zealand where I plan to spend a year messing about in boats and sailing with our lovely Kiwi community. Cannot wait to get there.

I realised that it would be great to meet up with Brisbane members too while on a long stopover here (from 1 - 20 Dec). So far I heard from Dieter and we agreed (weather permitting) to go sailing one of the two coming weekends, preferably 17/18 Dec. It would be lovely if anyone else in the area could join us.

I'd love to hear from anyone interested either to meet up or to sail with.

Forum response or individual email to LCGFUN@GMAIL.COM.

    Cheers

    Linda
