In my library, are carefully preserved the first documents, written by Blondie Hasler and Jock Mac Leod, describing the "Hasler system".

It would be worth getting Michel to look at our archive of Jock's  folios here to see if he has anything that we are missing.

    Dear All,

Few days ago I welcomed one of our new members to JRA. Looking at his profile I noticed that he had a wealth of sailing experience which went way back, so I was curious to hear more. I was thrilled to hear about Mr Fagnoul's treasures and even more so that he joined JRA. Once again - A Warm Welcome Monsieur!

    Dear Linda,

Many thanks for your welcome words.

My interest (and practice at sea) for the Chinese rigs, goes back to the end of seventies.

In my library, are carefully preserved the first documents, written by Blondie Hasler and Jock Mac Leod, describing the "Hasler system".

It was long before the printing of the first edition of the book, ... documents occurring four small files, typed (Remington ?) and signed, individually, by Jock Mac Leod.

Anyway, today, i am pleased to have become a JRA member.

    Cordially,

    Michel FAGNOUL, Belgium.
