Bernd Tilgner, sent me a couple photos he has taken of a delightful model junk he has made.  He writes:

I have made an junk-rigged RC.model christened MIN DSCHU.

Hull is 5 feet long and length over all are 6 feet. Sailing area is one square metre.

    Total weight is 32 pounds.

She isn´t scale but I added a lot of details on deck after photos  and paintings of real junks.

For a special event, Sebastian Hentschel´s meeting of real junk rigged boats, she is electric powered too for a distance of more than 4 miles. I tested it.

    She is sailing well.

If you or somebody else have questions please feel free and I´ll answer.

And if you like adding these photos to gallery please feel free again.

All the best to you and the JRA

    Sincerely

    Bernd Tilgner

The photos can be seen in the Photogallery, here and here.
