Great stuff, Richard.  Thanks.  And don't forget to send it to the magazine, for the members who don't go on line!

    What a weekend!

It started smoothly, then became decidedly bumpy before apparently coming to a premature end stranded in the rain with a broken engine. Then suddenly the sun came out and we were under way among Thames Barges, visiting friends, and having a wonderful time again.

Many words, pictures, and videos at http://tammynorie.wordpress.com/2014/07/08/east-coast-launch-weekend-part-one/

Comments are very welcome, especially if you spot errors in my junk rig sailing technique.

    More to come.

Hope the launch went well, and you're enjoying the fruits of all your hard work.

Looking forward to reading about your adventures aboard Tammy Norie.

    Declan.

Tammy Norie launches at Woodbridge this Friday! I know a few of you have seen her on the water on the weekend of the JRA AGM, but that was more of a sea trial. On Friday we'll be applying her name to her transom, opening a bottle of champagne, and riding the ebb down the Deben to the sea.

If you're interested in the plans after that please take a look at http://tammynorie.wordpress.com/2014/06/15/early-summer-plans/  I'd love to hear any advice or suggestions.

Many thanks for the friendly encouragement I've had from everyone.
