By chance, I came across three more videos about Terrapin, and here are some links to the full set; some very nice armchair sailing here:

The fourth video describes the building of Terrapin, a Reuel Parker inspired self-designed ply/epoxy boat, with some interesting and informative details - rolling over the hull using "square wheels", a keel that looks similar to Siblim's, (though cast in lead), six-staved wooden masts, hinged battens and more.

Yes, I enjoyed the video.  From swinging from the mast to coming into a new port the family looks like they know how to make the most of their experiences. The video including  the underwater shots was creative and I really liked the music. I thought that twin outboards in a well was an interesting and dependable power solution. Of course I was hooked right away when I saw they sailed from the boatyard where I kept my old Albin Vega for a couple of winters.

Having used mobile broadband I fully understand Annie. Talk about extortion.

Sorry Gary.  I'd like to have seen it having seen the new Bluenose II in build and love that part of the world.  However, my expensive mobile broadband doesn't allow me to watch You Tube clips.

Yes Gary, I did.  I live in Newport Rhode Island USAnow and this is up the road and a place I would like to cruise.  They built it themselves and it has a Reuel Parker edge to the design, and there is not much junk rig info.  But it is a good glimpse at what cruising with a family and cats on a good boat is like.  Thanks for the link.  I had better finish the house and get a boat again.

A very nice clip with some historical footage, including the building and launch of Bluenose II.
