    Hello Susie,

I have sailed junk rigged boats for many years and would be very willing to help you.  Are you able to get to Mylor Yacht Harbour or near to it? If not, there are many areas in the Falmouth area I could get to by car.  I am sailing in another boat (not junk rig and not as skipper) on Thursday and could look out for you.  I'm sure we can sort out your problem.

    Hi Susie

I sail a Coromandel out of Falmouth. I've learnt a lot about the rig in my first year of ownership and still have more to learn. But if I can be of any help feel free to get in touch

    Bonjour Susie

Many members never come on the forum.

I would suggest that you go on the "member area /directories /members list" and then fetch for members in the Falmouth area.

You could then send them individually an email requiring their support.

It is a silly possibility (but don't ask why I know it!) : if the yard parel remains tight, the sail can't be hoisted.

I've just purchase a Corribee 11 Junk rig boat.  On my maiden voyage along the West coast recently I was unable to raise the sail above 3 panels.  Are there any Junk rig members in the Falmouth area that could help with this problem.
