    Thought it might be of interest to share my journey from buying a Freedom 40 CC (from Mike Lyons), refitting the junk rig, sailing from Baltimore to New York, to Bermuda, to the the Azores and now in the Canaries.

    An absolute beginner on all things junk-rig but one of the best choices I ever made. Here is my blog in case anyone would be interested, with my latest sail, the 807nm from Horta to La Palma:
