    Hi all,

Posts to the General Forum are available to the general public and are shown on the home page.  Posts to the cruisers forum are not public, and are shown on the members page.

Posts to the technical forum are also public

This is all controlled by a tick box list that the webmaster can adjust but it is as it has been.  No recent changes.

    Best

    Kevin

Ueli: ... the 'forums' area when you're logged out. then only the three public fora will be there...

Thanks Ueili. Now, I see what you mean.

Members' Events forum (the top one) not showing up either,

Perhaps this is as it should be?    ...(which is correct…)...

    Tony: Not in mine

Len: It is not there. I think because that page is public and doesn't need a login to see it.

    That's a mystery.

Logged in or logged out, Home Page or Members' area - makes no difference - it seems to work for me in all cases.

Also shows up via the FORUMS area

You're right. It is not there. I think because that page is public and doesn't need a login to see it. A lot of us use the members area page as their home page (well I do for sure, I should not speak for others) and your message does show up there. This thread does show up on the home page.

...why posts in the Cruisers' Forum don't seem to get a mention in the Recent Posts section of the Homepage?

Well, it showed up on my "recent posts" column on the home page, in the normal way.

Just on a point of interest, is there a reason why posts in the Cruisers' Forum don't seem to get a mention in the Recent Posts section of the Homepage? Surely, if they did, it would help people be aware that there's something new there...
