After three episodes the JRA Magazine series THE BOATSHED, which was started by Jan, came to a halt.

Many of the projects have now been completed and some already have many nautical miles logged.

Paul, Tony and I think it was a great idea and would like to revive the series.

If you know of any junk-rigged boatbuilding project currently under way could you please message me or Paul (email addresses in the JRA directory) - we are looking for just a paragraph or two, and some photos, nothing too elaborate necessary - just to keep us up-to-date with any current builds. This should include any junk rig workshop project really, not necessarily new builds. Restorations, conversion jobs, sails or mast being made - you get the idea. If we can get some support, we can start the series up again.

    Can you help?

PS A warning. If you keep your project secret and we find out about it, you will be requested to write a full length feature article on your project when it is completed !!

The "Boatshed" section introduced in the July magazine seemed to be well received.

I'm working on the article for the November magazine this week, I've contacted:

    The two Sibling builds,

    Tony on SV Tapatya

    Frederik with the HFJY34

    Rael with his shunting proa

Alan Mulholland and Todd Sumner building Wave Rover IIs (no reply so far)

    Chris Phillips with his Wilo

Anybody else with, or who knows about, a launching or ongoing build of a junk rig (junk from design stage, we're not covering conversions generally) please get in touch on here or by email via my member profile. ASAP please!

11th Oct. Article submitted but please get in touch with any projects for the March issue of the mag.
