I agree, lots to do yet.
We have, at least, a good start. The masts arrived, all dressed with halyards etc. They have been inspected, repaired where necessary and repainted.
The sails were rolled up with their battens in their pockets then enclosed with their sail covers. The battens need to be refitted with anti-chafe material, the old being dried out leather gone hard. Could they be soaked with water and revived? Whatever, I'll do something even if it's temporary.
Yes, lots of work left to do. There will be detail work with the battens, Ideally they should be sanded and recoated, but that can wait. I have a a month before I go on my annual visit to family in Vancouver. I'll be gone three weeks, precious days this time of year. On return, we are into October. Boat haul-outs end mid November. (I do have the option of staying in the bubbler system over winter. Many do.)
But first, sea trials with my new motor. That should not take long.
