    Brilliant, Neil, well done, it's a great feeling to finally get sailing after all that work, isn't it? Sea Elf's Van Loan polytarp sails can be seen in Neil's photo album here.

    I finally had my first sail on the much modified Nic 32, SEA ELF.  I went out for a three day shake down and I'm really impressed with how she handled.  There are a few minor issues to deal with but I am very pleased with how it all turned out.  The sail design was based on Van Loans, she's schooner rigged and the sails are for now, polytarps.  After nine long years, Sea Elf sails again!
