Thanks for that update, Peter . No sign of the image in their online edition. Any chance you could scan it and email it to me so I can upload? Or anyone else?

Page 2 and 3 of this morning's Sunday Times show the outcome of the photo shoot.......  a junk sailing through the centre of Venice.

I conttacted the owner and the film company for the rest of the story:

Stella tells me that Bilbo ran aground near Venice and didn't take part in the shoot, Dominique has said he's has problems with the maintenance carried out on the boat. have requested photos from both parties and given Dominique the JRA join us link.

if I get any more info I'll post here.

What a result - well done Lesley. Shame the JRA can't make a profit;  could have asked for 10% finders fee. Over to you, Lesley :-)

If David and Lynda - mag editors - get to read this, it would be worth a mention in the coming issue.

I forgot it is quite the black art to posting pics in this forum, so have uploaded to the photogallery. Stunning boat! Thanks Leslie.

I thought a picture in the posting itself was too good to be true, but it was there, honest! have sent you pm, hoping you can upload.

Here's Bilbo a traditional Malay junk, built in peninsular Malaysia.

I have one Gary, and will post later.

Dominique has just emailed to say the deal is done and Bilbo is off to Italie!  I've asked him to write it up (in French!) for the magazine as he's going to join the Association!

great result all round I'd say!

Is there a pic of the boat somewhere? I'd like to see it.
