NORTH WALES RALLY - INVITATION
This year our September rally is again being held at Caernarfon in North Wales following the success last year’s event. We shall be based at the Royal Welsh Yacht Club, Caernarfon on the Menai Straits. We hope that many members will join us. Visiting yachts can choose to stay either in the Victoria Docks next to the castle or in the river just below the castle walls. There is also provision for launching boats from trailers into the Victoria docks. The yacht club can be found on the promenade which runs from the dock to the river along the seaward side of the castle.
The entrance to the club is about half way along the promenade under an archway leading towards the town. The address is Port - Yr - Aur, Caernarfon. Club contact is Sue Newton on 01248 867429
Alan and Gloria Parsons will be present with Badger, and we are hope Owen Perry will also bring his Golden Hind 34 Jua. We hope that other members will bring their boats and support this rally.
The Menai Straits is a beautiful cruising area and we hope that members who have found our other rally venues a little far away will be tempted to join us in North Wales.

Passage plan available for swellies.
Approach by road: By A55 towards Bangor then take signs for Caernarfon A487. On approaching Caernarfon look for the Morrisons store on the right. Go past then go right at the next roundabout (sign Victoria Dock). Follow road down to left hand bend (short distance). Turn right for Travel Lodge or left for Premier Inn. To reach Victoria dock goes past Premier Inn to junction. Turn right and follow road to car park in front of dock. B & B’s, Hotels, Caravan Parks, Camp Sites, All within easy distance.
