We are having another little junket in Maine. This one will be in Gouldsboro Bay, where they have been before, just east of Acadia National Park. We have again been invited to Chubba and Bonnie's annual lobster potluck, which takes place in the afternoon of that Saturday, 30 August. Chubba provides the lobster, everybody who attends is asked to bring a special dish!

Good anchoring, with protected spots for various wind directions. Two good boat ramps for trailer boats. The junket starts Friday afternoon, with whoever has arrived, and goes until Sunday afternoon or perhaps Monday morning, depending on when people are heading off.

Campground 15 minutes away for those attending by land, and various local lodging. (The previous campground, which was in sad shape, has now closed.)

Just in case anybody has a wild idea to show up for the New England Junket this weekend, here's how you get here.

Terrapin and Great Auk are in Joy Bay now, and Drummer is headed this way. Couple of other JR boats might make it, along with possible other rigs joining in. Lobster on Saturday afternoon!

Great Auk, Terrapin, and Drummer got to meet up in Blue Hill Bay along with some other friends several days ago… kind of a month long junket, one way and another around the area. We are so excited they are here!

If you'd like to join in the fun, by land or sea, you can be in touch for more details by phone or text: 207-546-0345
