Hi all,

last year I purchased an original 1965 Westerly 22, equipped with a Gunter rig.  My plan was to convert this, after refurbishing and updating, into using a split junk rig.  This model is a very capable, sea-kindly, go-anywhere boat.

Unfortunately, I am now suffering with ALS/MND, which has become inconvenient, to say the least!  Being unable to complete the project, the hope is that someone might like to take over from today's current position.

I am hoping that a fellow Junk enthusiast might be tempted to continue with refurbishment and conversion.  It is being sold complete with a new bespoke trailer, and is located in North East Lincolnshire, on the banks of the River Humber.
