Hi Magne. Thanks for the link - a very good piece of documented history which perhaps all should see. I think it has value. Very bad history though - shameful actually, nothing at all to feel proud about, but captures perfectly the colonial mind-set. The great European carve-up of China, which caused the deaths of millions and led to deadly chaos - but good that it has been preserved for all to see. Sadly, nothing much has changed.
And yes, there are some interesting junks in there, especially on the upper Yangzi.
