Thanks for posting, and I am sure I am not the only one who will be watching your progress with interest.  I have completed two junk rig conversions now, (Arion and Blue Moon) and when the funds permit, plan to convert my current yacht, Arion II.  Following the progress of others is always inspiring, and you never know what clever ideas you may come across.

Hello everyone, I am hoping to convert my home built sailing boat to junk rig. I've read and re- read the junk rig hand book, read Arne's articles on making a cambered sail and made a 1- 20 scale of what my idea of the sail would be. Although this seems far removed from a conversion, the first step for me is i've started building a 30 square metre ( this is the maximum allowed without requiring planning permission ) shed. This is so I can build a fibreglass tabernacle for the mast and have enough room to make the sail. It's not possible for me to do things inside our home as my wife is severely disabled, hence the shed. I know it will be a long process, but I hope to have my new rig by next summer, God willing. If any one is interested, I will post photos as I get along. I will try to put a photo of my scaled sail. Best regards, Oz ( Asim  ).
