Frohe Weihnachten (Merry Christmas) and happy holidays,

it is an honour and a great pleasure for me to be part of the JRA.

Thank you, to all you innovative, helpful and supportive people!

It was due to the junk rig and the help of this community, that I was able to go sailing today, single handed at an F7 and 1°C, without worrying about anything but how to not spill my tea in that seastate.

    All the best!

    Paul

Good yule and hál wes þú (wassail!) to you, Kevin and the committee, and many thanks for the work you all do to keep this Association running well.

It has been a great pleasure for me to deal with such a great bunch of people over the past year.  The JRA continues to be a forum for fellowship and community for those who participate actively, and I hope a source of information and inspiration for those members who prefer to remain relatively quiet.  There’s room for all styles of participation but please do let us know, by the forums or emails to your favourite committee members, if we can help.

in the meanwhile, I’d like to wish all the JRA members and our friends and families a wonderful holiday / Christmas season and a peaceful and successful 2026
