Having flat-cut sails as well (Van Loan), I really enjoyed reading Kurts article.  I must admit I haven't much time testing the sails since I just made them last fall, but other then a few minor tweaks, she performed just as I had hoped she would.
 I'm looking forward to a clean bottom and some fantastic sailing this year with my simple rig.
