Good work, Gary. I hope the outboard proves a success and you can get on with enjoying sailing
Redwing
after so much hard work.

One of the resulting problems with pulling the inboard out is the outboard is now higher in the water. This got me thinking about replacing the the OB bracket with one more adjustable. I've now scored one mounted on vertical rails so it can be raised and lowered with ease. I'm picking it up today and the price is a carton of beer.

Good news, you've just made life simpler. (Well simplest is a new reliable diesel with push button operation, but yours wasnt that.)

Redwing is now minus the diesel and the stern did rise. She handles much better with the outboard, though we only had a short run just to turn around.

Yes I agree, the design is not known. I like the internal layout as well, I should have taken a couple of photos.

Thanks Gary. I've changed your link to a Link! I'll also copy it into your new Shipping News thread. Cheers.

Thanks Gary, but which one is it? We all need to take care that captions tell the full story, ie at least name the boat and link to the image from your post. Can do the latter if you can't, but I know you can :-)
