Convert a Kingfisher K22 to a Junk Rig or swap boat for a JR version

Hello. I am the proud owner of a Kingfisher K22, one of the first 22ft designates. I would like to know peoples feelings on whether it is easy to convert her to a JR version or would it be easier to seek out an owner willing to swap from JR to Jib and Mainsail version? I understand that these were the first boats to be designed for either configuration, with a change in Mast position. I have tried the owners association, but it appears that the original people running it are retiring and there is a delay in new people taking on the reigns.

I would very much like to own or sail on a junk rig yacht and think being based on the IOW gives me a nice range of sailing areas to explore, especially single handed.
