That was one very large grin during the sail.

Thanks Len. I'm very happy with the way she sails. As I think is quite well accepted here, the Benford dories have an initial tenderness, but once she's heeling, maybe 15 deg, she firms right up and feels great under sail.

I'm very happy with the schooner rig, which give me a lot of sail options, and we've sailed in a range of conditions (clearly the range will get bigger with time) and she's been great in all of it. In light airs, we can ghost along impressively well, and we flew across the Great Belt in Denmark in about 15kn wind on the beam. We've also done a couple of windward sessions, and here I think the cambered sails really come into their own. All in all, I'm a very happy man :)

    Well, thanks Paul.

We're intending to get her out for her first sail this Thursday. We've been working hard getting her rigged, provisioned and generally ready. It's getting exciting :)

Another beautiful junk. I looked at the launching video on FaceBook - excellent crane work stepping those masts, Worth a look. You must be a very happy chappy.

Thank you Graeme. Yes, they did a good job. I am!
