What do you think about that eh?  !!

Nice Graeme, but any chance you can take a video longer than 20 or 30 seconds?

Also, what do you estimate the windspeed in the above video?  FanShi looks to be moving very well indeed.

What a marvelous photo. And the video is thrilling. Thank you Graeme, and CONGRATULATIONS Annie!

David, that's wonderful that you are making the plans available – and congratulations to you too, on such a successful design.

Oh, to be 20 years younger! I'd be building one myself.

Just a reminder; the drawings are available free of charge to all JRA members at

Congratulations David, upon the success of your design. If I were 20 years younger, I might order a set of plans. Thank you Graeme, for the YT clips and above all, I doff my cap respectfully to her builder. What an amazing achievement!

David Tyler you must be a bit chuffed to see your drawing become such a beautiful boat.

Maybe now I'll be able to get over my 'imposter syndrome': as an amateur yacht designer (though having been a professional in another field), I was always a bit concerned about Annie investing so much in bringing my drawings to life. But now, we seem to have a success on our hands, and I'm relieved and more than a bit chuffed. Quite a lot chuffed, in fact. An hour ago, I got a brief message from her after the first outing: "She loves light airs, is stiff, tacks predictably and points well. More details tomorrow". Can't wait!
