It is great to see a few people starting to build these boats. the doctor's have told dad that he will need to do some light exercise when he gets out of hospital. I wonder if sitting on a chair and guiding some wood off the table saw counts. 

What a month it has been. The good news is that I now have a lot of Clear Hoop Pine to build the stringers and other assorted bits and pieces. I have also sorted out the storage are a bit better, a major clean up of the shed. The bad news is that my time I had put aside to work on it has been taken up with hospital visits after dad had a heart attack. I have all the bulkheads that require only a single plywood sheet done and am ready to start on the others. I am hoping to make some videos of the build, they won't be fancy at all and put them on my YouTube channel just to document it.     

What species of timber did you settle on, Robert? It looks to be pretty good quality plywood.

I wish to thank David for the quick modifications to the plans he did for me. I am writing up a list of the timber and plywood required and weather permitting, it is raining quite heavily in areas around us, be ordering and collecting a fair bulk of it next week. Hoping to have all the bulkheads, coach roof and bottom panels done by Christmas.
