Thanks for the offer but she needs a fair bit of work yet before she's ready to get wet again. I'm intending to get her transported to Titchmarsh marina by road so that I can spend some weekends working on her on the hard. 

It would be great to do the work up in Ardrossan and sail her down but even if I could get a month off work I don't think I'd be able to get it all done in time.

Given the transport prices I suppose I could spend the money getting the work done for me up there and then sail her down but I've not sailed in over a decade and would have to hire a skipper.

It's an interesting thought though. It would be a good way to meeting interested JRA members involved on a sailing leg or two and get my sailing confidence up.

I'll speak to Jerry and see if he knows anyone he'd trust to do the work up in Ardrossan but I suspect the road transport option followed by me doing the work on the hard in Walton on the Naze will prove the best option.
