Hello - I am posting this on behalf of Roger. Please contact him directly by phone or email  rogerhersee@gmail.com

My wife and I have decided to sell our Newbridge Coromandel, called ‘China Girl’. She is a good and well cared for example of this delightful and seaworthy Chinese junk rig design. 3 berth with mountings for extra hammock if required. Our yacht is based on the River Medway in Kent. It has now been lifted out of the water, so is easy to view. Over £1,000 has been spent on improvements in the past 2 years. New and unused NASA Marine Cruiser Class depth sounder and also compass have been fitted last year, together with a superb new Ultraflex single lever control with new cables. The two main side windows were removed, professionally re-anodised & refitted with Eagle windows kit. We’re not selling the outboard with it, so the price is lower and it gives the new owner the flexibility to fit the engine of their choice in the outboard well. The boat is in good condition throughout. The combination of a yellow hull and brown sail looks great. Encapsulated bilge keels (so no keel bolts to worry about). An optional downhaul has been fitted, together with a new halyard and 4:1 Barton blocks. Other improvements include lower rudder bearing renovated and strengthened, new seacocks, new masthead light, improved design of mast crutch, extra cam cleats back to cockpit, belaying pins for storing working ropes. Also chemical heads in excellent condition in separate heads compartment, usual anchor & chain, fenders, ropes etc.. Upholstery has no tears or rips. Usual fold down concealed sink & tap, 2 burner cooker. The sail battens  have been improved for a better aerodynamic shape. A mast lifting frame (vertical lift) is also included. The reason for this sale is that grandchildren are growing and we now need a larger boat. We’re seeking about £1,750 for China Girl.

    Please telephone Roger on 07956-614380.
