She was formerly named Concept Won and is a Dudley Dix design (https://www.dixdesign.com/cw975.htm & pictures of her build and interior here) that was converted to a JR sloop by Alan Cooke who bought her from Dudley already pretty much stripped bare inside and then built her a new interior.

Alan then sold her to Mark, the present owner and seller, who gave her a new keel reducing the draft to 1.5m that has proved to work well.

Since purchasing her in South Africa Cielo was solo sailed across the Atlantic and spent a few years in Brazil with Mark before arriving in Grenada where she is now.

A delightful conversation with Alan yielded quite a lot of further information including this video of her conversion to a junk rig sloop. https://youtu.be/dq9rhcgmqcy

"Cielo was a delight to sail - best speed with the junk rig was 8 knots down wind. Flat bottomed she got up and flew along easily." - Alan Cooke

Her present owner is asking US$13,000.

If you are interested or have questions you can reach Mark Shrosbree the seller via telephone +50760643834 or email stunninguph@gmail.com

I have added a link to her original build pictures and some interior pictures from when Alan completed her interior and conversion to JR.

Funny: in another post, I suggested someone make an 'insulting' offer for a boat if s/he's interested in it.  I gave the same advice to Alan and look what happened ...

Actually, I remember this boat as being called Black Cat, when Dudley owned her.  He wanted to keep the rig for his next boat, which made her an unattractive prospect for most potential buyers.
