Bad Points:
SIGNIFICANT charring of chine log where charcoal heater is located. This will need to be sorted as a matter of urgency. Only discovered couple days ago and I'm horrified how dangerous this was.
700 watt electric outboard motor is not powerful enough to make way against an oncoming swell. However replacing the outboard is no more complicated than doing so on a dinghy. Any new outboard would have to be a long shaft outboard.
Has had a few significant repairs during my ownership including starboard rudder and dagger board slot

More information is available by searching 'junk rigged catamaran pelican' into Google, even a survey from 2018 is available on this forum.
The loose rudders has been addressed by reaming a larger hole into the gudgeons and fitting a larger stainless steel rod.
Having stripped many layers of anti-foul from the boat the damage to the bottom of the keels presumed in the survey was simply layers of anti-foul that had not been sanded smooth, I presume this is due to some of her bottom jobs being done on a beach or such.
Currently on drying mooring in small gains creek, Canvey Island, Essex, UK
