Thanks for your comments.  Nominations and other information will always be very welcome.  Allen and Sharie Farrell are certainly on my list.  I have a copy of Sailing Back in Time and thoroughly enjoyed it.  I have long been an admirer of Allen's artistic boatbuilding skills and his painting.  The project will take some time as we are publishing three profiles a year but should eventually have a significant folio.  Eventually I will get to the contemporary characters of the junk rig world, so watch out!

Webteam update: Chris Gallienne hopes to interview Mike Ellison soon, and to pass notes on to Graham Cox re the Hall of Fame.

Mike has responded and his answers have been forwarded to Graham. I will not spoil Graham's article by repeating any of them here. One of them (probably unpublishable) contains an interesting insight into the temperament of a certain bespectacled circumnavigator.

Looking forward to reading this one.  Mike Ellison deserves to be better known and appreciatd.  I met him several times in the 70s when we had Stormalong and were building Badger.  Perfect manners: he always pretended that he recognised us!
