It stayed stuck in the groove of the sliding hatch while I staggered backwards at a rate of knots.  i don't think anything was broken but a month on, it's still very tender and I need to take care.  A nuisance because I want to get sailing again to visit a previous Boat of the month in Whangarei.  (A cunning way to keep the post on topic!)

I must have missed a post somewhere, what did you do to your finger Annie? Nothing serious I hope.

Is this a particularly large file?  i haven't yet managed to complete loading the photo on my slow, NZ Internet connection.

Ditto, Michael. I've corrected the ownership details on the relevant web pages. Many thanks for the update.

Great to see Mariposa featured as Boat of the month for July 2012. I am, in fact, the new owner of her! I attended the Plymouth Rally recently and was fortunate enough to spend the day sailing on her with Edward Hooper the Hon Sec of the JRA and the boats former owner, Richard Burke.
