    Hi Ralph

    It looks as though your post didn't load properly (at least on my screen), but I got the gist.  A lot of our members use the website infrequently if ever, and considering that 'time is of the essence', I suggest you click on Members' Area/Directories/Membership List and type 'Devon' into the search.  Drop a line to anyone in the area who has a boat and ask them if they would be interested in taking you out sailing.  Better still, would be having located the Devonians, to go to Advanced Search and keep scrolling down until you see the bit where people say they are willing to familiarise members with junk rig.  Tick the box, go to the bottom of the screen and hit Search.  However, I'm sure that at least some of the people who never got round to ticking that box when they filled in their details, would be happy to take you sailing!
