A quick hello from a newbie. I've been dinghy racing for a number of years
but currently living north of Oxford has meant my sea sailing as been
confined to flotilla holidays and crewing for others when the chance arises.
I'm now looking to get my 'first yacht' down in Devon and anticipate much
of the time will be spent single-handed. As well as the obvious aesthetics,
it seems as though a junk rig is going to tick all the boxes technically.
I'm now on the lookout to meet up / crew with any members who might need
an extra pair of hands or simply willing to explain what works for them and why
Very short notice I know but we're down in South Devon this weekend until
middle of next week if anyone's around. Coffee & cake or beer & pizza on me.
I must add, all the info on here is brilliant, so very grateful to all contributors .
