    Hi Lesley,
Good to hear that Crib is sailing after the long haul of refitting her. How's it going? Is the rig workable now?

I agree that we should have some kind of presence on Cruising Wiki. There is a section of recommended yachts for cruising where I might be able to put something. I've started the registration process, and I'll report back when I've been able to add some junk rig info.
I also like https://activecaptain.com for cruising pilotage notes, and I agree that both of these should be in our links pages.

Just discovered this site: www.cruiserswiki.org/  and as there's no reference to it on the JRA site, (I did the search!) thought I'd mention it, as it looks to be building into a useful resource.

There's absolutely no mention of 'Junk Rig' (I searched!) so, maybe we need to remedy that?!

They are keen to see new articles added rather than just a link to another site (registration is required to be able to create & edit articles) and if we became a partnered forum, a link to threads on the public side of this forum referenced within an article would be possible,  http://www.cruiserswiki.org/wiki/Cruising_Forums. (David's domain I think?) We have a wealth of information here that is already accessible by non members and as the wiki builds, we might generate new visitors from there.

I personally feel we should get involved or at least get mentioned and would be happy to put some of the general information that's 'public' onto cruisers wiki if you felt it was appropriate, I didn't think it appropriate to do it without approval first!

    If you're asking "What's a 'wiki'?"
    here's a simple definition: http://www.techterms.com/definition/wiki   and another here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiki

ps We actually had Crib sailing on Sunday  Yippeeeeeee!!!!!!!!
