And suddenly it's all coming together!  Not long now.  My sail took about 80 hours to make, so you should get yours knocked over in the next 2 or 3 weeks.  And then there'll be no stopping you.

Last year, I started the engine on Sea Elf.  It had been sitting pickled since the 2003 marina fire.  This was late fall so being pleased that she still worked, I went ahead and winterized her.  Yesterday I replaced the fuel filter and ran the new fuel line down from the tank to the filter, bled the air out and she kicked over on the first try.  Shut her down and changed the oil.  Today I sorted out the gauges and the alarm for low oil pressure.  I wasn't too sure about my alternator because last year I didn't notice any output.  I thought about removing it and having it checked out, but decided not too.  I glad I didn't.  Now the only thing to do is take her out for a spin.  Got the docklines off and out we went.  Boy did that feel good taking my boat out again even if it was under power!   When I returned, I checked everything out...all o.k. and much to my surprise the alternator was doing its job!  Boy, I can't wait to get the sails made....!
