Hi Annie. Great to hear you still remember the lunch. I have some photos taken then as well as some of China Moon moored at Port Owen. I could e-mail some if you like..

Believe me, Edward, I don't take a lot of corrupting.  Pete is a much more virtuous character!  I remember that lunch with pleasure.

Thank you Brian and David for the information you traced. I recall that Bob Burns was in Port Owen on the Cape West Coast at the time when Pete and Annie Hill were building China Moon there. A friend and I corrupted Pete and Annie to take time off for lunch at a restaurant where I believe Bob Burns acted as the barman.. It would be interesting to read his book.

Thanks again for the trouble you took in tracing the book. I am sure other members will also find the information usefull.

I found this in "The Argus", a local newspaper from Sussex, I think:

"Bob’s brother Terry, who spent many years working for The Argus, acted as project manager for the voyage and has edited the book.

    * Roamer Around The World is produced by Roamer Publications,£16.99. More details are available from Terry Burns on 01273 884394."

Can't find the book on the web, but came across this news report from 2010:

    Try Seachest in Plymouth:

It seems to be self-published by "Roamer Publications". It was only published in 2010, so should be around somewhere.
