To coincide with the 3rd May AGM, the Committee hopes that members with their own within-range junk-rigged boats will arrive by sea. We hope to arrange convenient pontoon berths, and of course some weekend sailing.

More details later, but please post below if you are interested.

[Webteam note: Please see next-but-one post for details of how to book a berth.]

I plan to have my recently acquired Coromandel launched and make it to the junket, and no doubt be told that I have her set up all wrong. I'll look forward to it!

Excellent, Richard. That's good news; thanks for letting us know.

RLYC member Anthony Cook says, "Anyone arriving by sea and requiring a mooring is advised to contact the Harbour Office (01590 672014) for a berth on the Dan Bran pontoon, which adjoins the club."

Steve and I are planning to bring Alanouwoly over to Lymington in time for the AGM.  I shall certainly be around for the weekend so hope to go sailing with anyone who fancies a trip out; am not absolutely sure whether Steve can stay for long so may need a crew!

My photos from the Junket are available at https://www.flickr.com/photos/rptb1/sets/72157644587225813/  (and permission is hereby given for the JRA to reproduce any of these.)

    Enjoy!

Some great photos there.  Many thanks for going to the trouble to make them accessible to the rest of us.

No trouble at all.  There'll be a few more when I retrieve them from my Mum's camera.

Just to say 'Thank you' to Lynda and David Chidell for enabling me to bring Alanouwoly to the AGM last weekend by offering to crew and also to Chris Gallienne and Roy Denton for crewing for me on Sunday and, last but not least, to Richard Brooksby for taking such lovely photos of my first 'command'!!
